• Pressure to Perform

UFCW members work around dangerous equipment in hazardous conditions. Like many workers, we are under immense pressure to get the job done and may not have enough help.

  • Good Jobs, Safe Jobs

It is important that all safety and health issues be addressed and corrected to ensure that each member’s workplace is as safe and healthy as possible.

  • All Work Should Be Safe-

While it may seem that the hazards of retail are vastly different from the hazards of health care or food processing, there are many common safety and health issues.

  • Health Care,

There are also vast differences that each industry faces. Nursing home employees are at risk of being stuck by needles or injured by patients.

  • Retail and Grocery,

Retail and grocery workers face a great risk of violence and abuse from customers.

  • Packing and Food Processing,

Food Process and Meat Packing members work around dangerous equipment and in hazardous conditions.

  • We're Here to Help!
